Position Overview:
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our growing team. This role will focus on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of advanced industrial fiber laser systems. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in both mechanical and electrical systems, thrives in customer-facing environments, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative, high-performance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, commission, and optimize industrial fiber laser systems at customer sites
Provide on-site troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure maximum uptime
Conduct preventive maintenance and performance testing
Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve technical issues
Train customers on safe operation and best practices for system use
Document all service activities, including reporting and parts usage
Uphold Eagle’s standards for safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1-2 years of field service experience with capital equipment
Previous experience working with fiber laser systems is required
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and customer service abilities
Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
